| came to Lafayette for mothers day, now im just sittni around waiting for grades to be posted, as usual. if one more person asks me what my summer internship plans are or what kind of law i want to practice (as if i have the luxury of getting fucking hired anywhere i want) or "hows law school?" im just gunna say i dont want to talk about it. i mean come on. shut the fuck up about it.

| Jazzfest this weekend was so much fun! Foo Fighters were really really really great and we all had such a good time. i got a sunburn like no other. shh dont tell my mom, she'd be really mad and talk about wrinkles and cancer if she saw me right now.
this morning on news radio i heard the traffic report for new orleans and there was some slow traffic somewhere. the news guy said "there was a truck on fire, but still people wanna look at the remnants on the side of the road." HAHAHAH. like NO SHIT, people are so dumb. OH LOOKIE! AN ACCIDENT! lets slow down during rush hour and look at it like we've never seen mangled cars before!
i have a serious problem with frozen yogurt. i cant stop eating it--almost every day!! and i know im gaining weight! i mean imagine eating an extra 300ish calories every day thinking that its healthy but its still calories! and there are so many yogurt places everywhere! almost every sentence in this entry ends with an exclamation!!! OR SEVERAL!!!!!!
a weird thing thats happened to me in the past coupel of years is that i cant watch high-intensity and stressful movies anymore. i just cant handle the stress unless its for something important, which movies are not. last night Jacob got me to watch The Grey and the first 15 mins were so stressful i got a headache and i realized i was all tense and he had to turn it off. i mean the beginning was like this: lonely man working in the barren Alaska shithole snow desert, his wife left him, he shoots a wolf, wolf suffers and dies, vivid plane crash, wreckage of plane crash, people cut in half, etc. enough!!!!!!!!! i cant handle it.
today was my first real day of summer! i turned in my final exam this morning and NOW IM FREE UNTIL AUGUST 14 or something like that. im so happy i cant even convey the feeling in words. you'd have to see my face. i mean, this is what i did today: went to the gym, took a leisurely bath, went to alex's house and make jean shorts out of old jeans (for Hangout fest, gotta blend in with the teenz), got hangers at walmart, took pictures of the giraffes over the outer fence to Audubon Zoo, and thats pretty much it. im so happy. im SO sosososossosososo happy

Alex is hungover and i just dont like that people stare into the room every time they pass so i put on my sunglasses for more anonymity. it actually doesnt work but whatever. the undergrad library is a display of idiocy and this time we are participating.
IM STILL NOT DONE WITH FINALS. i keep putting off doing my Business ORganizations take-home final because i heard its a bitch and i need to give it my full attention, so ive been studying this week so i can take the damned thing on Monday.
I'm going to my first Jazzfest this weekend! tomorrow is My Morning Jacket and Sunday is whoever the hell i get dragged to see, i dont care as long as i have a constant beer in my little hand(s). Double-fisting is not only going to be tolerated but will be highly encouraged... i think.

im in the library half-assin. im way over this shit. donations final tomorrow on a saturday morning and then im gettin the F out of here to go to Lafayette for a day of Festival International! i havent been since 2010 and im real excited.
im going to Las Vegas in June with the fam! my dad has a meeting or conference or some shit so the rest of the family is going. anyone have recommendations for non-gambling and non-stripper activities? must sees? vomitous roller coasters or ziplines or other fun shit?
